We are located in a fantastic position on the Jurassic Coast, close to the lively town of Lyme Regis and the stunningly beautiful Axe Valley. Beautiful coastlines, quaint towns, as well as some of the South West’s award winning attractions lie within easy reach.

Home of the world famous “Cobb” (setting for scenes in the film The French Lieutenant’s Woman), Lyme Regis is a lovely town to explore with four different beaches, Town Beach, Monmouth Beach, Church Cliff Beach. the harbour, known as the Cobb is one of the town’s most significant landmarks. It was built in the thirteenth century and there are opportunities for fishing trips from there. The cliffs around Lyme Regis date back to the Jurassic Period and offer fantastic fossil hunting opportunities. The nearby Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre offers hands on displays and information about fossils and fossil hunting.

Fossils and Walks For intrepid fossil hunters there are fantastic opportunities within the beaches around Lyme Regis. To the west of Lyme, walk the Undercliff National Nature Reserve, one of the  most unspoilt areas of the coast and accessible only to walkers. For the more adventurous the Heritage Coast footpath stretches for over twenty miles to the east and west of Lyme.
